Yep I knew a guy who spent all his money buying carbon fiber parts for his car, even carbon fiber covers for existing parts (like a roof cover) which I always thought was retarded, cf is meant to reduce weight but they're just adding weight because the original part is still there AND it just makes the area look "raised up" and out of place. He has wheels and is bagged... but his engine? Untouched.

I get a kick out of it when people make cars they get 20 to 30000 worth of exterior mods in not one engine upgrade at all not even like an air filter. I got a nice little sleeper beat machine I use to commute back and for to work is a 2000 Toyota corolla but it'd like brand new I just haven't touch touched the out side yet. So paints peeling small rust spots. But she's little over 450 hp and quick. Probably 12k in on the car.
